Go-To Buttermilk Biscuits

This is a simple way to make biscuits. There’s no need to fuss when the kids are set for school as you have prepared in advance this buttery and not so sweet biscuits.

Servings: 16 biscuits

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter

2 tablespoons baking powder

1 tablespoon sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 cup buttermilk

Additional buttermilk for brushing

Additional flour for dusting

Note: Cut 1 ½ stick unsalted butter into small pieces and freeze. Directions

Preheat the oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
